Tiempo Latino Dance Company has been around for over 5 years, after starting Yamulee Project Reno (over 6 years ago) we realized the need to train our dancers properly from the ground up with the goal of being able to have them learn world-renowned routines.
Gerzon Chaves has been a part of the Reno/Tahoe community since he moved to Reno at the age of 16, originally from Costa Rica, he was used to the idea of dancing at house parties and/or family gatherings.
He felt the need of helping grow our dance community after learning about the benefits that dancing brings, not only personally, but also to our community. He also loves bringing our community together through dance regardless of the color of your skin, political beliefs, or ethnicity. We just want you to feel like you belong, and you always will on a Salsa dance floor.
